Community Center Volunteer Opportunities

The Lesbian and Gay Community Center is always looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers.  Here are some of the current volunteer opportunities available at The Center - please indicate your interest in any of these in the "Skills and Other Other Comments" section of the volunteer information form.
  • Center Support - Work with staff and other volunteers answering phones, greeting guests and having fun!
  • Art Committee - Help coordinate Community Center artist selections and displays.
  • Development Committee - Assist with the creation and implementation of Center fundraising.
  • Operations Committee - Assess and implement technological and operational solutions for The Center.
  • Programming Committee - Participate in planning and executing Community Center events.
  • Pride Charlotte - Lend your time and talents in a variety of ways to help ensure a successful event.
  • Special Events - Volunteer your time as needed for one-time special events and programming.
Other Community Volunteer Opportunities
 
Other non-profit 501(c)3 organizations in our community may come to The Center seeking to fill specific volunteer needs.  The Center may share volunteer information (unless you specify otherwise) to assist these organizations.  If you have a particular skill or desire for volunteering in our community, please indicate so when signing up below.
